Description
From Danilo--
For the invariant calculation - background must be subtracted. Could it be done automatically from this panel? Could you subtract the background, forcing the result to the Porod slope (-4), or to another specified exponent? At the least, it saves the user from the extra step (that is in the reduction, not analysis ...) of writing out a separate data file.
Forcing -4 is maybe imposing something on the data, but is common practice for finding the background value.
Need to think about what is a better implementation than we've got right now. Something along these lines would be an improvement.

- Resolution set to fixed

- Summary changed from Background subtraction for Invariant to Fixed Slope for Invariant
Background subtraction is a separate issue that I don't think fits well in the invariant panel. What has been added is the option to fix the slope at a desired (user-supplied) value. Changing the number of points will change (fit) the scaling factor, which has a significant impact on the calculation of the extrapolated invariant - so the scale must be good...
