Crystal Palace of the English Premier League announced Cinch, the online auto marketplace, as their new jersey sponsor in a multi-year arrangement today.

The company's emblem will appear on the front of Crystal Palace's men's and women's teams, beginning with the 2022-23 season.

As part of the agreement, Cinch will become the club's official training wear partner and gain brand exposure throughout the club's youth teams, Selhurst Park stadium, and digital media.

The used-car dealership, which opened in 2019, replaces Asian betting and gambling firm W88, the club's jersey sponsor for the previous two seasons in South London.

Before W88, another betting company, ManBetX, enjoyed such rights for three years.

Palace has chosen to exit the betting market since the UK government is generally expected to ban gambling sponsorships soon.

Mukuru, an African financial services platform, was revealed as the team's new sleeve sponsor earlier this month, replacing mixed reality firm Facebank beginning next season.

The collaboration strengthens Cinch's Premier League presence since it has a sleeve sponsorship relationship with Tottenham Hotspur.

The internet platform also has a title sponsorship arrangement with Scotland's top-flight SPFL, as well as tie-ups with the England cricket team, Northampton Saints rugby union club, and the Lawn Tennis Association in the UK market. It has focused most of its sports relationships thus far.

Last year, Cinch hired Pitch Marketing Group, a sports and entertainment marketing firm in the United Kingdom, as its sponsorship activation partner.

"Cinch is a well-established, family-friendly, and instantly identifiable brand across the UK and beyond," said Barry Webber, commercial director at Crystal Palace. "This landmark relationship is yet another declaration of growth at the club, both on and off the field."

"This is a great time for our relationship to begin as we approach our tenth consecutive Premier League season while cinch continues its incredible progress and innovation in the vehicle industry." We enjoy working together to achieve our mutual goals."

"We are thrilled to be joining Crystal Palace as the front of jersey sponsor," said Avril Palmer-Baunack, Chairman of Constellation Automotive Group, cinch owners. Cinch is an ambitious brand that has accomplished a lot in a short period, and this new collaboration will help us continue to expand in the UK auto market."

This season, Palace finished 12th in the Premier League, as the 2021-22 season ended on Sunday (May 22).
