Heroux-Devtek Inc., a leading Canadian manufacturer of aerospace and industrial aircraft for sale, announced today that its product line-carriages had obtained several contracts for the manufacture of components and subassemblies for commercial aircraft for sale and military . Heroux-Devtek estimated total contract value to approximately $ 35 million.

Initially, Boeing was awarded a contract for the supply of actuation systems for the B-777 program. Under the terms of the contract, Heroux-Devtek will manufacture, assembly, testing and delivery of cylinders actuating landing gear for the production of new aircraft and the provision of spare parts. Deliveries should begin in early calendar year 2013, coinciding roughly with the second expected increase in the rate of production of the B-777 program, whose pace will be accelerated once the middle of 2011.

Then, Heroux-Devtek has secured orders to manufacture landing gear components for various military aircraft programs. Awarded for the most part by the Air Force and U.S. Navy, these commands are mainly on the F-15, F-16 and P-3. Deliveries will begin in FY 2012 and phased in over four years.
