#502 closed task (fixed)

q-calculations and XY for mouse-over are not beam-center-aware

Description

mouse locations x.loc, y.loc are in terms of axis coordinates, which I have re-centered to 0,0 for better display (0,0) in the bottom left would be even worse!

currently then the XY displayed on the panel is +/- around zero and not the true [i][j] index of the panel arrays. need to update this

check the q-calculations too. Currently, without correct geometry in the data files, I do not know what the correct q-values are.

  • Resolution set to fixed
  • Status changed from new to closed

This issue has been fixed. The error was that the wavelength was being read from the VS block and not from the top level. Be sure to always read from the top level block, and not from lower levels unless necessary.

In the NICE generated files, this should not be an issue. This issue appeared in "fake" data files that I generated from VCALC and subsequently patched.

Q-values and count values now read correctly (tested on AgBeh?)
