ModifyImage log=1 fails with zero present

Description

if there are zeroes present, the image just goes gray, which is useless. This seemed like a clean solution rather than needing to drag a second set around with the log-scaling, but I may need to do that now, just to have some way of handling the case of zero counts in a pixel, which is not an uncommon happening.

What special tricks did I do in the SANS image display/color scaling that will now need to be carried over to VSANS?

?can I use the lookup keyword with a pre-defined log-scaling of the lookup wave?

the lookup keyword appears to work for this

I will want to tweak the definition of the logLookupWave (in the initialization routine) to be sure it really looks the way I'd like it to. Also not sure how the lookup wave interacts with a color bar -- hopefully it reads the transformed values from the image, since there did not seem to be any equivalent way to enter a "lookup" wave in the dialog for the color bar.
