Description

I’m luckily getting by with the int data type, since in Igor it’s 32-bit (if unsigned, 4.2 billion, if signed, 2.1 billion), which is right now large enough to count the number of XY events, even in the largest file. But it may be better to change these declarations (in the counter struct) to CountInt?, which would be 32-bit or 64-bit, depending on the XOP.

This may need to be more carefully handled in the future, changing everything to CountInt? may be necessary (and safer)
