ABS scaling issues

Description

Is ABS scaling going to be calculated as a single "kappa" value, where one panel is the "ABS" panel, and everything else is scaled to that panels, since the incident flux is identical, and only the detector positioning is different.

It would be good to independently scale - to be able to verify the distances and geometry are all correct, rather than trusting that everything is correct. Simple rescaling may not show subtle problems.

if using a single panel for ABS, in addition to the "kappa", the "target" panel must be identified (so that the rescaled kappa can be calculated for each of the other panels.)

  • Resolution set to fixed
  • Status changed from new to closed

I think this is all correct now. A single scaling value is all that is needed, since all of the geometry is known, all of the solid angles per pixel are known, and all of the data sets can be put on ABS -- no need for overlap, and no need to "fudge" the ABS scaling between detector distances.
