Description

How do I know when two VSANS files are taken at the same configurations, and can be successfully subtracted, or added together.

check wavelength
check all detector distances and lateral, vertical offsets

what else to check??

  • Resolution set to fixed
  • Status changed from new to closed

started a file of V_Utilities_Comparisons.ipf that has a series of file checks for determining if two files have various bits of collimation that are the same, such as wavelength, number of guides, detector distances, offsets, etc. to determine if files are from the same collimation and can be added, used for transmission, to determine the appropriate resolution calculation, etc.

more may be needed in the future, but the bulk is complete.
