Description

What additional steps need to be done for the back detector?

The background is extra-large. Does a "dark" need to be subtracted?

What about saturated pixels? in general, should these be masked?

  • Resolution set to fixed
  • Status changed from new to closed

This has been done in a previous release:

  • the dark current is subtracted
  • saturated pixels are not an issue with the new filtering + binning that Phil does (on his side, before I see the data)
  • the mask is larger now, since the beam stop and plex are shadowing large chunks of the detector (also now, the T/B CCDs are dead - only the middle one is active)

General DIV file creation has been modified to allow the back detector DIV to be added to the total DIV file. A DIV file without data from the back detector is still valid.
