Masking of 2D data sets

Description

Maksing of 2D data sets is really not optimal right now. As a default, when the fit is dispatched, a mask is generated that excludes two pixels around the edge, and a beamstop mask of radius = 8 pixels around the beam center (which is found automatically from the wave scaling). There needs to be a more optimal way of generating this, hopefully with minimal effort from the user

as a suggestion - the user could be presented with a few "default" choices - that are displayed on a 2D image of the data. Here the user would be able to select the number of pixels "per edge" that are masked, and the radius of the beam stop masking.

no interactive drawing right now - defaults and very limited choices may be well received (easy to use) and provide the needed function.

alternatively, wait for user feedback for a good suggestion of other ways it could be done.

  • Milestone changed from Analysis_4.0_Beta to Analysis 4.0 Release

moved to the release milestone, maybe deal with it there, or shelve it for a while.

  • Milestone Analysis 4.0 Release deleted
  • Task DanseIntegration deleted

Table it for the next update - basic masking is done, so it's not a priority right now.
